The lookout
Your adventure in Safrica begins with the meerkats. These little animals are constantly busy throughout the day in this desert-like continent of Pantropica. Digging, digging, and even more digging while the ‘lookout’ keeps an eye on you. The meerkats take turns being the lookout and will alert their congeners when there is imminent danger or when a giant tortoise decides to impede their adventures.
Safrica’s animals
Don’t be surprised when you see a meerkat hitch a ride on the back of the African spurred tortoise. In Safrica, the animals have ample room to enjoy their life to the fullest and they regularly band together to turn their habitat upside down.
All eyes on you
When you move further into Safrica, you will discover even more eyes on you… Hundreds of fish eyes are watching you from the Malawi aquarium and the ranger at the entrance of the Jungle Theatre awaits you to welcome you!
Did you know…
The Malawi aquarium houses hundreds of Malawi cichlids. These magnificent fishes can be spotted in the wild only in Lake Malawi in Africa.
