Pantropica will proudly present the first edition of the ‘River of Dreams’ flower festival in 2026. From 20 March up to and including 24 May 2026, the brand-new Orangerie will be transformed into a floral paradise in which the orchid — the undisputed queen of the tropics —will shine unprecedentedly.

For almost ten weeks, Pantropica’s (formerly Orchideeën Hoeve) exceptional family history will shine in the enchanting floral spectacle of ‘River of Dreams’. Top arrangers will bring the theme to life in an area of 1,600 m2 in the brand-new Orangerie, situated in the centre of Pantropica’s park. A meandering river creates a dreamy connection between colourful orchids, tropical plants, typical houses, and stylish cruise ships from times past. It is a unique combination of ingredients that you can bring along on a dream voyage through colours, scents, and amazement.
The Magic of the Orchid
The orchid plays the leading part during the festival and that’s not a coincidence. The orchid family is one of the largest and most colourful plant families on earth with its more than 25,000 species. It has been fascinating visitors to domestic and international exhibitions for decades. Pantropica too is completely under the spell of this tropical beauty. You can encounter it in numerous shapes and colours in our fully covered park. During River of Dreams, we will additionally highlight the orchid and let her magic shine as you’ve never seen before.
