Indian python

Large, larger, largest

As its name already implies, the Indian python is an impressive snake. This snake is among the largest python species in the world and can grow between five to seven metres long.

The lazy indian python

The Indian python is a constrictor snake, just like the boa constrictor. Instead of venom, it uses its strong body to catch its prey. As the Indian python can grow up to seven metres long, it can also catch larger prey such as rodents, wild boar, and birds. However, it is not an active hunter. It can lie in wait on the same spot for days for an animal to pass by. But once the Indian python strikes, it strikes super-fast.
