Cheerful whistler
The white-necklaced partridge does not like to be in the spotlight. You need more than a little bit of luck to observe this shy bird. Looking for food, this bird scratches around the entire day in the bushes and digs in the soil with its tiny paws. Should you fail to see it rummaging around, you might be able to hear it. The loud hunting calls of this bird can be heard from afar, especially early in the morning and late in the evening.
